Covid-19 Families Bucks

Covid-19 Families UK is a national network of 40 support groups supporting those who have lost loved ones during the pandemic. Covid-19 Families Buckinghamshire offer emotional and practical support to anyone who has become bereaved in the local area.  

Financially support was needed to organise and host a lantern parade and service in Buckinghamshire so families could come together and find comfort in the most distressing of times. The charity needed to raise awareness of who they are and the support they can offer to those who need it, particularly the BAME, Faith Groups and LGBTQ Community.

The grant the Covid-19 Families received not only allowed them to host the memorial event in Buckinghamshire, but also raise their profile and build awareness through the local media. The coverage allowed them to engage with more prominent members of the community which attracted even more valuable support for the work they do.

Our mission is to continue to make a positive difference in the lives of those who live in our community.
