Strategic Partnerships

We’re proud to fund a rich mix of grants that support our community in many different ways, addressing a wide range of local challenges.

One of these is our Strategic Partnership Grant. These grants start at £15,000 and are delivered by organisations that sit at the heart of Milton Keynes’ community infrastructure. We partner with groups that have deep local knowledge, operate at scale, and play a key role in tackling the city’s most complex issues.

We know that building a fairer, stronger Milton Keynes takes long-term thinking. We're looking for organisations who have that as part of their DNA.

Milton Keynes Community Foundation’s Strategic Partnership Grants:

• Are ad hoc. We begin the conversation as soon as we receive your expression of interest
• Start at £15,000
• Can be for one-year projects or multi-year projects taking place over one to three years (min of £15,000 per year)
• Are bespoke, long-term and collaborative. They are designed to build resilience, support forward planning, and create opportunities for shared learning and joint ambition

Each year, our Strategic Partnership Grants focus on key themes highlighted by our Vital Signs report. This year, we’re inviting interest from organisations working in the following areas:

• Violence Against Women and Girls
• Arts & Heritage
• Serious Youth Crime Prevention
• Or any of the areas supported by our Margaret Powell Fund:
  • Supporting older people living with frailty
  • Working with disabled people of all ages
  • Fostering integration and social connection
  • Supporting people of all ages experiencing mental health challenges
