Corporate Giving
Corporate Membership
There's an estimated 10,900 children living in poverty in Milton Keynes, with eight areas within the 10% most deprived in England, and two areas among the 2%. Therefore we have decided to make it a key focus point for this year and have started a Child Poverty fund. With the money you donate as a Corporate Member we will be able to support child poverty projects across Milton Keynes. Find out more by downloading our brochure.
Corporate Membership
Becoming a Corporate Member of MK Community Foundation allows your company to support thousands of people across Milton Keynes through your annual donation. This enables us to make Milton Keynes a happier, healthier, more inclusive place for everyone.
The amount you donate as a Corporate Member is up to you. However, there is a minimum amount based on your organisation size, starting at £250 per year. Remember, for anything you donate above this minimum you’ll be able to claim tax relief, and the more you donate, the more we’ll be able to do to support people in need in Milton Keynes.
Annual research and analysis is carried out by MK Community Foundation which identifies, and helps us to direct funds to, the areas in most need. Our research is presented in our Vital Signs report which you can look at here.
The funds raised by your Corporate Membership will be allocated to one of these specific issues in Milton Keynes, so you know that the money you donate will go towards projects that tackle the most urgent issues in your area and will make a real difference.
This year our focus is on child poverty therefore all corporate member donations will be directed to the Child Poverty Fund. This means that by becoming a corporate member, your business will provide much needed support to families living in poverty in our community.
Membership demonstrates your commitment to supporting your community and brings other business benefits. Please download our brochure to learn more about the benefits of becoming a Corporate Member of MK Community Foundation
Corporate Named Funds
As a Named Corporate Fundholder you receive all the benefits of being a Corporate Member plus more! You’ll receive an invitation for a representative of your organisation to attend our annual AGM, a yearly fundholder meeting to discuss the impact your fund has had.
When you set up a Named Corporate Fund, you can decide what type of projects, or issues you’d like your fund to go towards. So, if your company wants to help tackle homelessness, has an interest in mental health or crime and safety, you can tailor your fund to those areas.
