Who is this workshop for?
This workshop is for any not-for-profit organisation looking to get an understanding of what to include when creating a business plan.
What will I get out of it?
This interactive workshop will cover the basic principles of what needs be included in a business plan.
By the end of the workshop you will have a business plan outline which you can use to complete a functional business plan for your organisation.
Who is the facilitator?
The workshop will be facilitated by Jerry Taylor, Managing Director of WSA The Communications Agency based in Bletchley.
Jerry Joined WSA back in October 2017 having spent the first 25 years of his working life cutting his teeth in the London Agency and Media worlds following a short (but successful) rugby career. Having worked his way through the ranks of one of the country's largest advertising agencies from Account Manager through to Media Director he jumped ships to join The Times Education Supplement as Commercial Director, before joining WSA.
Jerry has a broad knowledge of starting and running a variety of businesses. His business acumen covers the communications agency world at large, sales analysis, product development, team management, and working with national brands. He has enjoyed the opportunity to work with clients as diverse as The University of Oxford, Manpower, Sainsburys, Mind, and Michael Page to name a few. However, it’s his work with the local Milton Keynes business and charity sectors that gives him the most satisfaction. Taking an active role in both local charitable projects and Milton Keynes Business Leaders Partnership has enabled Jerry to get close to organisations that support the less advantaged sections of the MK community.
